Julian Dupont [Colombia, 1985] Su trabajo habita la pregunta por otra resolución de la artificialidad desde la pregunta por el perspectivismo de Abya-Yala. A través de la articulación contextual de la Escultura e Instalaciones performativas, se juega en la constante deformación de nuestro aparato conceptual como meta-ficción, dirigido hacia una resolución no identitaria; en resonancia vegetal como emancipación decolonial. Actualmente lleva a cabo los seminarios ‘Pedagogías de Imaginación Espiral’ en la Universidad Autónoma Indígena Intercultural del Consejo Regional Indígena del Cauca, en Popayán [Colombia].
Graduado en Filosofía, Arte y Pensamiento Social en EGS - The European Graduate School, con Catherine Malabou como directora de tesis, ha realizado exposiciones individuales como ‘UUS YAHTX’ en Popayán con la colaboración de la Guardia Indígena del CRIC en 2018, MAPARADOXTERRA en la Cinemateca del Museo La Tertulia en Cali (2013) con la asesoría de Wilson Díaz; y en colectivas como ‘RESILIENT CURRENTS:ON COMMUNAL RE-EXISTANCE, curada por Ilaria Conti en FORMA GALLERY, Paris (2024), ‘SEMBRAR LA DUDA’ curada por María Wills, Julien Petit & Sigrid Castañeda en el Museo del Banco de la República, Bogotá(2023), ‘EL SUEÑO DEL CONDOR’ en la galería INSTITUTO DE VISION, Bogotá (2023), ‘PEDAGOGIAS DEL SECRETO’ en Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris (2022), ‘MIAAU - EL CONCILIO DE LOS SUEÑOS’ en la 15 Bienal del Artes Mediales curada por Nicolle L’Huillier y Enrique Rivera, ’ARTIFACTS’ curada por Barbara Krulik & Mildred Durán en la galería Casa Hoffmann (2021), ’The long minute' curada por Bronwyn Lace en 'The Center for the Less good idea' en Sudáfrica (2020), y ‘Cuando los venenos son amargos’ en ARTBO curada por Helena Producciones (2019).
Julian Dupont [Colombia, 1985] His work inhabits the question for another resolution of artificiality from the question opened through Abya-Yala’s perspectivism. Through the contextual articulation of Sculpture and performative installations, he plays in the constant deformation of our conceptual apparatus as meta-fictions, directed towards a non-identitarian resolution; in plant resonance as decolonial emancipation. He is currently working in the workshops 'Pedagogies of the secret' at the Autonomous Intercultural Indigenous University of the Indigenous Regional Council of Cauca, in Popayán [Colombia].
