Julian Dupont is an artist working across sculpture, installation, and theory. Grounded in Abya Yala as a cosmopolitical position, his practice explores collective dreaming, vegetal relations, and cosmotechnics as alternatives to dominant technological paradigms. He develops sculptural dispositifs and immersive environments that function as protocols for shared dreaming, where humans and more-than-humans engage in relational modes of resonance.
In dialogue with Indigenous knowledges from regions such as KauKa and Putumayo, his work approaches plants as relational interfaces rather than resources. His practice is informed by a long-term collaboration with the Autonomous Intercultural Indigenous University (UAIIN) and the Indigenous Regional Council of Cauca (CRIC), and proposes a pluriversal understanding of artificiality rooted in reciprocity, care, and coexistence.
